{"id":6,"date":"2016-07-11T12:26:41","date_gmt":"2016-07-11T12:26:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.full-parallax-imaging.eu\/TS2\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2016-10-26T09:04:26","modified_gmt":"2016-10-26T09:04:26","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.full-parallax-imaging.eu\/TS2\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Training school 2,\u00a0\u201cOptical foundations of Full Parallax Imaging\u201d, will take place at University of Valencia from the 12th to the 15th of September 2016.<\/p>\n<p>It is a 4-day training school, and every day the course is structured as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Morning sessions (3.5 hrs) in the classroom with blackboard lessons and also exercises <em>(open also to external participants)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Afternoon sessions (3.0 hrs) in the laboratory. In these sessions students perform simple experiments related to the theory explained in the morning session <em>(limited number of places)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The expected instructors of the training school are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manuel Martinez-Corral, Full Professor of Optics, University of Valencia.<\/li>\n<li>Genaro Saavedra Full Professor of Optics, University of Valencia.<\/li>\n<li>Juan C. Barreiro, Associate Professor of Optics, University of Valencia.<\/li>\n<li>Emilio Sanchez, Post-doctoral Researcher, Imperial College London.<\/li>\n<li>Jim Swoger, Senior Researcher, Center for Genomic Regulation, Barcelona.<\/li>\n<li>Adri\u00e1n Dorado, Pre-doctoral researcher, University of Valencia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the lunch break (12:30 to 14:15) students and instructors will share table at the canteen of the campus, where Mediterranean food is served. Lunch\u00a0is free of charge for ESRs and teachers.
